Why filtration matters
Filtration of air, oil, hydraulics, fuel and coolant directly determines how long and how reliably a machine runs. Dust wears cylinders and rings, water in the fuel destroys injectors, and contaminants in the hydraulics wear the pump and valves.
Air filter efficiency is the percentage of dust that the filter removes from the intake air. On dusty sites you can improve it by fitting a pre-cleaner, which catches coarse dust before the main element. For advice on a pre-cleaner call us on +385 98 894 684.
When to change filters
- according to the interval in the service book of the machine or engine
- sooner if the machine works in dust or on poorer fuel
- when the air filter restriction indicator shows it
- when water collects in the fuel separator
