Diesel Dijelovi sources undercarriage parts for excavators and crawler machines: track chains, track shoes, lower and upper rollers, drive sprockets, and new and reconditioned tensioners, for Caterpillar, Komatsu, New Holland, Fiat Hitachi and other machines. A worn part wears out the others faster, so it is worth checking them together.

Undercarriage parts

The undercarriage carries the machine and determines its stability and efficiency on the ground. The quality of the material directly affects service life.

Track chain: moves the machine over the ground; the track shoes are fastened to it with bolts and nuts.
Track shoes: give grip and stability during work.
Lower rollers (track rollers): carry the weight of the machine on the chain and allow smooth movement.
Upper rollers (carrier rollers): support the top of the chain and stop it sagging.
Drive sprocket: transmits the drive power to the chain.
Tensioner (recoil spring): keeps the chain at the correct tension. We offer new and reconditioned tensioners.

When to replace parts

the chain can no longer be tensioned properly because the links have stretched
the sprocket teeth are pointed or hooked
rollers do not turn, leak or have flat spots
the shoe grousers are worn and the machine slips
the chain comes off or jumps

Parts wear together: a new chain on a worn sprocket lasts a shorter time. Before ordering, have a mechanic measure the wear. More in the guide When to replace the undercarriage.

What to send in an enquiry

the make, model and serial number of the machine
the catalogue number from the part, if legible (often stamped on the roller or sprocket)
for a chain: the number of links; for shoes: the width

Do I need to replace the whole undercarriage at once?

Not necessarily, but parts wear together and a new part on a worn one soon fails. Decide after measuring the wear of the chain, sprockets and rollers.

Do you have reconditioned tensioners?

Yes, alongside new ones we offer reconditioned track tensioners.

What details do you need for rollers or a chain?

The make, model and serial number of the machine and, if legible, the catalogue number from the part. For a chain, also the number of links.

What warranty applies to undercarriage parts?

The warranty is 6 months from the invoice date, provided the parts were fitted at an authorised workshop and no used parts or parts from other manufacturers are used alongside them.
